We have actual snow on Mercer Island (a few days ago was just a preview)! Yes, those people are cross-country skiing!

After a cold, snowy Saturday night we woke up to a sprinkling of the white stuff Sunday morning.

On Sunday the 3 of us hiked the Alpine Lakes trails near Alpental. You can see that there is already some snow on the ground - Fenway loved that!

Last week I cleaned the carpets in our apartment. This project involves Fenway staying off of them for a while... while blocked out of the living room with bar stools he felt like he was in jail...


I have written about how Fenway likes to stuff as many toys and other objects in his mouth... I was able to capture it on film. Here he has 2 slippers, his duck toy and a sock in there somewhere...

New toys don't last long

Grandma Ingrid gave Fenway a new toy - Booda the Hedgehog. Unfortunately, Booda only lasted a few days. If Fenway shows his love by tearing his stuffed animals limb from limb and pulling the stuffing out, well then he really loves Booda.
