Izzy and Lenore

No new Fenway photos, but I'll have some soon.

I (not Fenway) just finished reading John Katz's book, Izzy and Lenore. It was nice to read a book celebrating a dog's life (or in this case, many dogs) in which the dog (or dogs) does not die in the end. Katz shows that is easy (relatively) to write about a beloved dog during their life. I am pretty sure that both Izzy and Lenore are still enjoying life on his farm and yet he was able to fill pages and pages about them and how they have brought many gifts to his life and the lives of others...

I highly recommend the book and plan to pick up some more of his works...
